How Electronic Music Came To Be.

Music is probably the biggest influence in everyone’s lives from the past until today. Its influence evolved and developed as many instruments and types of music were given birth to. One of the most popular and trending music of today are Electronic music. Well, because technologies also improved, electronic devices for electronic music were made better and are now used by many different artists.
In 1897, Thaddeus Cahill developed what was seen as the first electronic instrument, the tele harmonium. This huge machine that contributed to the industry of electronic music weighed seven tons and as big as a boxcar. Cahill’s idea was to broadcast music through phones. Although he didn’t realize his plan, it had a huge impact not only in this type of music but also the entirety of countries. His ideas given were the start of massive use of streaming media.
Electronic music started to take its course after the Second World War when tapes and primitive synthesizers were brought in the media industry. It became a new opportunity for composers and so they started making music without instruments. In 1957, the American Max Matthews began the Bell Laboratory to produce music with use of computers.
Electronic music was commonly used for classical compositions but in time, it sided with pop culture. Back then, the instruments use were not as good as the instruments today but still, bands like the Beatles and the Beach Boys produced Electronic music.
In the early seventies, a famous German group has made a great impact on electronic music, the Kraftwerk. Back then, Germans experimented on different electronic music and gave way to the minimoog that was an extremely sophisticated synthesizer at that time.
In the early eighties, Electronic music was taken to another level when digital synthesizers and samplers were made. The price of instruments then, were so expensive that only famous groups have managed to use them.
And from then on, it didn’t come to a halt. The prices of instrument declined continuously and had now become accessible to everyone. Another gear also hit the industry, the personal computers. It became the age where everyone started to engage in making electronic music.
